Bob and I landed on Anderson Island in 1995 from several years on McNeil Island (as employees, no funny business). We’ve been islanders for about 25 years total. We love it here and firmly believe in the “island way” of waving to everyone and serving this community.
I was honored to join the ranks of outstanding island volunteers in 2010 as the island’s woman of the year. I extend that friendly customer service attitude in my professional life as well.
A native Western Washingtonian, my great-grands pioneered both Tacoma in Pierce County and Arlington in Snohomish County, arriving in the Washington Territory in the 1880s. I know the area and its history very well.
I’m an artsy-fartsy, hat crazy, entertaining people person with Type-A extrovert energy. Watch for me riding my bling-ed out pink scooter in the summer or my purple ’69 VW when the mood strikes. Be sure to wave!
